Vesting schedules
Amazon vests 5/15/40/40. A $400K grant pays $20K in year one, not $100K.
Greener: Stock counts in the year it vests.
Cliffs
Most grants vest nothing in year one, and leaving forfeits what hasn’t vested.
Greener: Your job counts what’s left; the offer starts at zero.
Refreshers
Offers can assume refreshers nobody promised, while yours go uncounted.
Greener: Refreshers count on both sides, or neither.
Sign-on clawbacks
Leave within a year or two and the sign-on comes back out.

Where it's stored. Encrypted, in a US database (Neon). Clerk sends sign-in links; your email is used for nothing else.
Never sold. We don't send your numbers to employers or recruiters. Anyone you send a comparison link to can see its numbers.
Yours to take or delete. Export or delete everything from Settings.
What we count. Visits, calculator actions, sign-ins, page speed and errors. Analytics never includes your pay or email. Scorecard links leave dollars out.
